Morningside Commons is a 166-unit condominium community located on Morningside Road within walking distance of downtown Brattleboro, VT.  The community is comprised of five “Phases” with between 28 and 38 condominiums per phase. There are 36 approximately 800 square foot townhouses in Phase 1, with two bedrooms, 1 ½ baths and no carports. Phases 2 and 3 are all townhouse units, with approximately 1100 square feet per unit, two bedrooms, 1 ½ baths, patios in the rear and one carport for each unit.  Phase 5 has 28 units, with townhouse and one-level units, including some on the second floor.  All units are 1100 square feet, with two bedrooms, 1 ½ baths, decks or patios in the rear and one carport for each unit. Phase 4 is a mix of townhouse and single-level units, some on the second floor. Most have two bedrooms, 1 ½ baths, decks or patios and carports. Some of the Phase 4 units have basements.  All the units are very well-insulated and feature individually-metered propane for each unit for heating, hot water and clothes dryers.
The Morningside Commons community is surrounded by woods and/or cemetery property which provides a maximum of privacy for each home. 
The community has a large community swimming pool, private tennis courts and a basketball court. Use of all recreational facilities is included in the monthly maintenance fees. The property is surrounded by walking trails. The maintenance fees are relatively low, ranging from $154 for Phase 1 homes without carports to $158 for the larger units with basements in Phase 4.      .

Morningside is a lovely, affordable community.  All the buildings have vinyl siding and the landscaping is attractive and well-cared for with many private gardens.
